    • The cello has a large range from C2 to C6 and can play anything from the melody to the bass lines in the orchestra.
    • The cello is the second lowest member of the string family.
    • Music for the cello is written in bass clef, tenor clef, and treble clef.
    • The cello can be played with the bow or by plucking the strings, called pizzicato.
